Founded by me, Addison Bevere, Rediscover Prayer offers principles, practices, and resources that lead us into a vibrant and meaningful life of everyday prayer.
For decades, I believed I was just bad at prayer and could never do enough to get God’s attention. After a five-year bout with insomnia, I painfully emerged with a fresh vision for prayer, a vision rooted in Scripture, Spirit, and our everyday Stories.
So I wrote a book called Words with God, and lots of people told me they were on a similar journey. My team and I created Rediscover Prayer for them, and there are now tens of thousands of people daring to take a fresh look at prayer.

Meet Addison
Addison’s passion is to help people rediscover God’s heart and purpose for prayer . . . and for them. He is the best-selling author of Words with God, Saints, and the coauthor of The Holy Spirit: An Introduction. Addison serves as the President of Messenger International, a discipleship organization that impacts millions of people in nearly every country. He and his wife, Juli, have four children and live in Tennessee.
